I saw the recipe made quickly on a television show, but I can’t remember the proportions. Bascially, everything was thrown together in a food processor until incorporated, then rolled into balls and refridgerated. Apparently their so delicious even a chocoholic was impressed!
I want to make potatoe latkes but I dont have a food processor. I also really don’t want to have to do it by hand. Is there any other way to do it, for example, with a blender?
Using a hand grater will take forever to grate 1lb of potatoes – that’s why I’m looking for an alternate solution (:
I recently dined at Cracker Barrel and really loved their cole slaw: light, crunchy, not soaking in dressing, yet moist enough. Does anybody here know how to make this or any other good cole slaw for that matter?
Also, how do you shred cabbage for cole slaw? (grater? food processor? just knife?)
Hello,
We have a kitchenaid blender that pretty much sucks…whenever you try to blend something, it develops kind of like an air bubble or pocket and doesn’t mix or chop anything.
You have to keep turning it off and on to even try and get it to work.
Is the blendtec total blender basic good? does it have any problems? does it develop air pockets when blending?
Also, it would be kind of nice to be able to make our own flour by grinding up fresh seeds. I know they make the kitchen mill, but will the blender work? What about their Mix N’ Blend?
I do not have a dehydrator or vitamix and I do have a food processor, but it’s not vitamix
So I just wanted simple recipes that do not require too much time or fancy equipment, thanks
