I’m in the market for a quality food mini-chopper, but have no idea which brand is better. Oster? Hamilton? Black and Decker? KitchenAid? Proctor-Silex? Please help me!

I also have the big food processor and stand mixer. With these two items, I have found that I rarely use the 3 cup mixer. What kinds of jobs would be good specifically for the smaller chopper?

Here’s an awesome recipe I’d like to share with you. Please give me a star if you try it and like it.

EASY OREO TRUFFLES

Prep Time: 30 min
Total Time: 1 hr 30 min
Makes: 3-1/2 doz. or 42 servings, one truffle each
INGREDIENTS:
1 pkg. (1 lb., 2 oz.) OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, divided;
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened;
2 pkg. (8 oz. each) BAKER’S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate, melted

CRUSH 9 of the cookies to fine crumbs in food processor; reserve for later use. (Cookies can also be finely crushed in a resealable plastic bag using a rolling pin.) Crush remaining 36 cookies to fine crumbs; place in medium bowl. Add cream cheese; mix until well blended. Roll cookie mixture into 42 balls, about 1-inch in diameter. DIP balls in chocolate; place on wax paper-covered baking sheet. Sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs. REFRIGERATE until firm, about 1 hour. Store leftover truffles, covered, in refrigerator.

please tell me how a blender and a food processor are different. Also is one better than the other, or are they simply different? I ask because I own two blenders but have never had a food processor.

I am looking at something to make raw vegetable soups and smoothies but I already have a pretty good/sturdy blender (breville). Do I need to buy a food processor if I make raw soups? I was thinking about the vitamix but see it is just a blender….but people seem to rave about them. Are they like a food processor/blender in one? They are SO EXPENSIVE!!! What is the difference between it and a normal blender?

stove

oven

rice cooker

food processor

slow cooker

remmber the best you can think of alright, i dont want the uses but just the imporance for example

a refrigerator is important because a refrigerator is an appliance that helps prevent spoilage of perishable food items by keeping them at low temperatures.

What kind of blender do you use and does it work well?

I am looking for a new blender. I found a few at Walmart then looked up reviews for them and they were not that good of products. I just need one that will not cost a fortune and that will blend ice evenly and good to make smoothies and ice drinks. I have also been seeing a lot of settings for salsas and things where the blender can double as a food processor…hmmm that sounds nice too! But I really just want shakes and smoothies!

Give me some ideas on some ones I should look at!
