Anyone want to share recipes?

Here’s an awesome recipe I’d like to share with you. Please give me a star if you try it and like it.

EASY OREO TRUFFLES

Prep Time: 30 min
Total Time: 1 hr 30 min
Makes: 3-1/2 doz. or 42 servings, one truffle each
INGREDIENTS:
1 pkg. (1 lb., 2 oz.) OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, divided;
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened;
2 pkg. (8 oz. each) BAKER’S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate, melted

CRUSH 9 of the cookies to fine crumbs in food processor; reserve for later use. (Cookies can also be finely crushed in a resealable plastic bag using a rolling pin.) Crush remaining 36 cookies to fine crumbs; place in medium bowl. Add cream cheese; mix until well blended. Roll cookie mixture into 42 balls, about 1-inch in diameter. DIP balls in chocolate; place on wax paper-covered baking sheet. Sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs. REFRIGERATE until firm, about 1 hour. Store leftover truffles, covered, in refrigerator.

What is this recipe missing?

I got the following Oatmeal S’Mores Cookies recipe from the KitchenAid Baking Companion Book:

2/3 cup mini marshmallows
2 cups old-fashioned oats
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup (1 1/1 sticks) butter, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup coarse chocolate graham craker crumbs

Basically, I had to freeze the marshmallows for 1 hour. Preheated oven at 350 degrees. Combined dry ingredients in a bowl. Creamed butter and sugars. Added egg, honey, and vanilla. Gradually added dry ingredients. Stirred chocolate chips and marshmallows. Put in a parchment lined baking sheet for 14-16 minutes.

The cookies did not bake well. I just had the rounded tablespoons of mix, slightly bigger, and brown. It seems like it is missing some fat, such as shortening or something else to help them bake appropriately.

Any ideas? Thanks!
There is a picture of what the cookies are supposed to look like and is not a drop cookie. Imagine a Chip’s Ahoy type of cookie. Also, when taking a bite, they seem too dry.
I’m guessing the recipe calls to freeze the marshmallows to make sure they don’t completely melt and get runny.
