Hi,
I am looking for a nut grinder that is for more personal use than commercial use. I am looking for a product that grinds the nuts rather than using a blade like most food processors. My experience making nut butters with processors have left a un smooth texture as to the ones you make at a whole food store. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiWTXNzI1iw& )(turn down volume) This video shows the consistency Im interested in. Again I know this is a commercial machine but was wondering if there is anyone that knows if you can get a personal sized that uses the same type grinding and produces the same texture. Thanks in advance.

sorry. title should state Nut Grinders instead of just "peanut butter"
Well, today I made a baked blueberry cheesecake. And I use a food processor to blend the ingredients. After putting the cake in the over (at 180°C, for 45 minutes) I discovered there would alot of mould in the food processor. Well, it was on the inside of the blade.
(This is that the blade looks like, and the mould was on the inner part of the blade. the part you cant see in this picture… http://www.thegourmetdepotco.com/public/CUAFP-7CB_tn.jpg )
Im pretty sure this part did not come into contact with the food as the blade is flush the the plastic jug thing, but is ther a risk the cake is contaminated?
and if so, would 180°C, for 45 minutes kill the potential bacteria?
Model KFP750 Standard dough blade. Thanks!
I was doing dishes today and dropped the blade into place. My hand was slightly damp and it touched the metal safety thing on top of (now sticking out through) the blade. The speed selections below were turned on. Somehow my hand completed the electrical current, bypassed any safety measures and turned on. It grabbed my hand, pulling it down inside and chopped my ring finger and my middle finger to the bone. ER and a few stitches later, I’m home, miserable…
I need to know if this has happened to others – it happened to my husband 6 mo ago, and it seems like maybe they need to do a recall??
We use our food processors (yes we have 3 different ones) for everything. Our big one we love to use to slice/shred steak/chicken for fajitas and philly steak sandwiches. It just seems to take forever to clean. I soak the blade right away so that the meat doesn’t dry up on it and take a brush to get it out of the nooks and such, then throw it in the dishwasher, but it still has dried meat on it after that. Does anyone know of a way to prevent the meat from sticking in the first place, or an easier way to wash it?
Help! I have a Kitchen Aid 12 cup food processor and a few days ago I was using the dough blade and when I was finished the blade wouldn’t come out for the life of me? I’ve yanked and pulled and twisted but still it just wont come off? has anyone else had that problem? if so what did you do?
