I am looking for a nut grinder that is for more personal use than commercial use. I am looking for a product that grinds the nuts rather than using a blade like most food processors. My experience making nut butters with processors have left a un smooth texture as to the ones you make at a whole food store. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiWTXNzI1iw& )(turn down volume) This video shows the consistency Im interested in. Again I know this is a commercial machine but was wondering if there is anyone that knows if you can get a personal sized that uses the same type grinding and produces the same texture. Thanks in advance.

sorry. title should state Nut Grinders instead of just "peanut butter"
I want to buy a food processor, but I’m having my doubts. I will be using it for onions, peppers, garlic, tomatoes, carrots, etc. Will this appliance chopped things as neatly as the pictures of the box show. Sometimes recipes ask for onions or peppers in stripes not in little chunks, will I be able to do this. Everyone uses their food processors to make pesto and hummus and that kind of stuff, but the thing is I love to eat salads but I hate to chopped everything myself I’m kind of slow with the knife, and I like to cook my meats with onions and peppers and lots of stuff. So, will this appliance help me?? I don’t want a big pile of veggie dough. Thanks!
I want to get a food processor that can julienne vegetables so that they come out like noodles or spaghetti, that is, long and thin. Most food processors do not have this function and can only shred.
I usually threw in cool bracli and potato, butter in food processors, I don’ know if it really had any nutritional value.
Anyother recipes I can expeice on the food processor, that nutious in value and delicious??
Any mommy don’t share them, Thanks in advance
sorry, the braclili is cooked first with olive oil. Than rocessed, any nutrition can give me veriaties of entries that my tolder will enjoy?
Once again a question about blenders and food processors, question below:
Let’s say I wanted to process a lot of solid vegetables — cabbage, broccoli, carrots and other hard, crunchy vegetables — what would I want, a food processor or a blender? When you’re speaking of "purees" how pureed will a food processor make of broccoli, cabbage, carrots, etc? I want it to be sort of smooth, so it can easily be digested by my weak digestive system.
Chopping, slicing are not what I want, I just want to know that if I puree a food long enough (please also indicate times for pureeing in a food processor!) in a food processor, that it will be processed enough so that I won’t see the individual ingredients.
Thanks so much again!!!
Ben
Okay, the concern with how "pureed" a food will be has to do with an eating disorder — my digestive "problem" is really a devastation — inflicted on me after a lot of self-abuse.
The food processor or blender of my choice will have to be with me for awhile to come, as my financial situation is in dire straits. I have no job, no income and rely on my mother for support. She decided that it was worthwhile to invest in me getting better so she bought me a 12-cup Kitchen Aid for 9.99 (way overpriced, but for Canadian pricing this is above and beyond what you’d get elsewhere).
Yeah, when it came down to it, I chose the food processor over the xbox 360 because my health (and my mothers) is deteriorating rapidly. Without something to bring my food within "digestive reach" of my stomach, I am doomed.
So, will this food processor last me long, will it stand the test of time and heavy abuse? That’s what it’ll be going through if I am to get any better, so help me out please! Thanks
i dont actually use one but sometimes i think they might be useful instead of chopping stuff with my knife. i do have a blender which also has the chop and features like that but it’s so big i barely ever use it. i saw these food processors for sale at bed bath and beyond for plus 20$ rebate. is that a good price? are they worth it?
One of my New Year’s resolutions is too eat healthier, and therefore do more homemade cooking. I’m looking for a food processor, but I’ve noticed some of the motorized choppers resemble food processors…but cost less. What is the difference?
