I also have the big food processor and stand mixer. With these two items, I have found that I rarely use the 3 cup mixer. What kinds of jobs would be good specifically for the smaller chopper?

I’ve been researching quite a few and am having a hard time deciding which to purchase. Initially, I thought I would purchase a Kitchenaid however, the reviews are so mixed… it apperas for every happy customer there are twice as many that are unhappy. I am trying to dig myself out of a financial ditch and plan on selling baked goods to do so. I will need to purchase a good stand mixer to get this project started. I already have one order that is due next month for a birthday. I figure if I can get 4 to 5 orders per week it would be of tremendous help.
Please share your expereince with stand mixers and if you own one pls state the # of yrs you have had it.
Thank you!
I’m looking through sears site, and there is a stand mixer that costs almost 0, and another one that is .
the offers 6 speeds and come with beaters, whisk, dough hooks, stand and 4 L stainless steel bowl
is there a major difference ???
i dont bake cakes often, and dont really want to buy a 0 machine that i will occasionally use
but will the difference be huge?
I am looking for a good food processor that can gently knead dough (more like a stand mixer). around or below 10 cup capacity prefered. apart from dough,i want to use it for shredding. I can use blendtec blender for pureee etc;.
I did consider bread machine, but I am looking for something to chop and shred too. Does bread machine make good dough for cookies/pies?
I am looking for the following items: a stand mixer (not the giant ones), a food processor and an Ice Cream maker (again not the giant idustrial kind). Where can I find (on line?) these items used?
I don’t have a mixer. Not a stand mixer, not even a measly hand mixer. All I have is a food processor and my two hands, along with a few stirring utensils. I have a cake to make this Saturday. Does anyone have any tips or recipes that work well without a mixer? Thanks in advance!
I have 3 devices to make pasta dough (well, 4 if you count hands). I have a stand mixer with a dough hook, a food processor with a dough hook, and a bread maker with a dough setting. I want the easiest one with less clean up or just the best. What have you used?
Also, do you use all purpose flour or semolina? I’ve never tried semolina but want to.
I can’t afford 0 for a stand mixer right now. Are there any good runners up that are affordable and durable?
